The lipsticks that took the beauty world by storm. I mean, how can a brand of lipstick sell out multiple times in Sephora stores and on the site.

I first found out about the lippie when I asked a friend what gorgeous color she had on her lips and she was surprised that I, a beauty enthusiast had not heard about the KVD craze. I took my shame to the Sephora store and bought Bau Hau and L.U.V. and before I knew it, I owned six colors from the line.

What I love the most about these lippies is that they are super matte but they do not crack or dry over-dry. They apply in a creamy consistency and slowly turn to matte. Secondly, they really are everlasting. No seriously, they don’t come off, unless you’re like biting your lips.

So without further due, let me tell you about my favorite ones.

Ayesha – Rich Lavender

This mysterious purple, works perfectly for a night (or day) when I feel like being spontaneous. It works best with lip-liners ranging from brown to purple.

L.U.V. – Rich Violet

The perfect pop of color to brighten up any dull day.

BauHau5 – Deep Raspberry

I feel Pretty-in-Pink with this lippie on. Also a great pop of color.
 Exorcism – Ripe Blackberry

This lovely shade of burgundy can work well for a daily look or as an ombré with a darker color.  

Outlaw – Brick Red

Red with an orange undertone. Works best with a brown lip-liner. It applies on bright, but sets to a darker shade of brick red.

Damned – Black Cherry

I love a dark lip and this is one of my favorite colors. It’s the perfect chic addition to your look.

 Vampira – Deep Reddish Burgundy

This is a brown-ish burgundy with a golden tone. It’s a beautiful festive color.

 Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Color 14 – Blackberry Sorbet

Although this is not a Kat Von D lipstick it’s made from the same company as the Kat Von D brand and lasts just as long. It’s a great color for a daily look.
