How to make a mango ginger honey smoothie recipe

There are a lot of things I copy from my mum, especially her choice of perfume and her juicing skills. Currently, she’s into lychee blends and I’m putting ginger in e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g!

My weekend mornings always usually start with a smoothie or tea, but it’s getting warmer now, so smoothies it is. Allow me to share my new concoction.

What you need:

Frozen mangoes, lemon squeeze, water, powdered ginger and honey to sweeten. If you don’t have frozen mangoes, use regular ones but add ice and then blend everything. Remember, liquids go in first.

So ginger boosts your energy, has anti inflammatory effects (hello allergies), works on indigestion issues and could help in lowering cholesterol. Honey also helps with allergies, in addition to having anti-bacterial effects and other things. Lemon (and mango) are good sources of vitamin C and also other things.

So, you can see how this smoothie is going to make you start your day right…right? I’m calling this smoothie Minger…as in Mangoes and gINGER, make me feel like a “ninja”…Minger. Cammmaaan…it’s funny. Okay, I’m gonna go now.
