I bought this lovely dress in H&M it was love at first sight…the color, the fit, the cut! I have been seeing this color around a lot, it’s like a highlighter peachy pink. Ladies that are curvier are always afraid of wearing bright colors but they can work if the fit is right. Also since it’s bright I did not accessorize too much. I let the dress take center stage and everyone else be a backup dancer. Stud earrings and nude pumps did the trick for me.
I love dramatic eye make-up…somehow it always ends up on the neutral side so I settle for bold lips. That’s one of my favorite lip colors and its Sephora brand. It’s like a replica of M.A.C Rebel except it’s a little darker.
About those shoes…I was in Nordstrom Rack…one of my favorite stores…and I was looking around among the shoes when I saw this shoe. This is the thing, I don’t do very high heels at all so I don’t even bother trying them on. I have seen this shoe multiple times on the Steve Madden website, Macys, Nordstrom and any other site that sells his brand. But the fact that it was a 6 inch, I wouldn’t even bother no matter how good the sale was. I honestly don’t know why I decided to try this shoe on cos I know these shoes are hell to walk in.
Dude this shoe is way more comfortable than some 4 inch heels I own. Like when I wore it, I had so many mixed emotions cos I was now thinking of all the pretty colors I had seen online and not given chance. I had initially picked another shoe…threw that mug back in the isle so fast…cos these were a keeper, not to mention the affordable price.
I got home and the first thing I did was go online to where I had seen the other colors…dude sold out…everywhere…my heart bled. I love high heeled shoes but the pain is not worth it, so to find something that high and that comfortable? Steve Madden, I am sorry I judged you cos…and another thing, usually the nude shoes you find are like a lighter shade, so for darker skin, it’s really a cream shoe…so technically, this shade of nude fits my skin tone better…you guys, this shoe is perfection in my eyes.
Enjoy the pictures, details at the bottom and sorry for being so wordy, I just had to let it out.
I love you for reading,
Xoxo…Buba.
