It’s okay to go there with style…you know, over do it. The trick is in picking the perfect color palette and playing around with it.
My palettes always have the statement piece, the supporting accessories and the uniting neutrals. Lately, I’m into mixing patterns with similar colors (see bag and shoes).
A side knot skirt in beautiful mauve can be quite the conversation starter. A white tank fits into a daytime look, although I would absolutely wear a gold corset/black crop for a night on the town.
Keep it trendy with a chocker and give them something to talk about with an African print clutch bag. Complete the look with African beaded bracelets. I own these in probably every color. This time, I wanted to match my clutch so I played around with gold, white, and red.
If you ask me, I’d say all those decor inspiration color palettes I’ve been pinning are starting to pay off…
P.s. I might be giving away some beaded bracelets soon. Subscribe to my blog so you wont miss out. To subsribe, scroll all the way down or look to the left on your PC.
