I was nervous about this skirt when I first saw it, because curvy can be tricky with busy prints. But!!! I took the chance and now I’m obsessed with these types of skirts. See the magic behind this skirt is that it’s so busy, which in turn makes you look like a silhouette cos the print takes up so much attention, your “extra” curves are less noticeable. When investing in clothes that have a very busy print, get clothes that have shape. Like this skirt has a pencil cut, meaning it gets tighter around the legs. Clothes like maxi dresses that have a busy print all over are the ones that will make you look unnecessarily humongous.
Also, busier bottoms are preferable to busier tops, and in fact I try to keep my tops dark and solid colored to give off that color block effect. Mesh tops are so in!!! This black one is one of my personal favs. You will be seeing this again on here.
And finally, I am yet to find out what they call these heels that have a higher raise in the back. All I know is I’m seriously collecting them. Something so classy about them…and they make you look like your in 6 inch heels yet they are only 4 inches. I chose the gold over black because it looked more eventful.
