Hey there, so if you didn’t know, I’m in Uganda. Usually I take most of my pictures on my camera, which is where they’re currently trapped and I’m yet to find a laptop with Internet. So for now, we gotta work with what’s on my phone. So my dad, and the rest of the “Matovu” gang went to the countryside for some major family business, that I will share once my photos are freed from DSLR slavery and while we waited on more family to arrive, I convinced my sister to take a few shots of this maxi dress that people seem to love.
It’s very easy and very light to wear and even though I’m not very compatible with the color blue, this one is “to die for”. That leopard print scarf is a wardrobe favorite of mine that I guard like a lioness with her cubs. It actually has a very interesting story that I will share the next time I wear it…believe me, there will be a next time. People seriously eye that scarf so bad and I get real protective when they start to compliment it…”Awww I love that scarf”…”yea me too, I would never trade it for anything in the world”. The scarf is really light too which works perfectly as a summertime accesory (it’s always summer in Uganda). My new favorite pair of Ray Ban sunglasses perfectly hid the sun from my eyes.
Hope the new year is working out well for y’all so far. Enjoy the pictures and that breathtaking background.
Love and love…Buba.
