AfroFridayPlaylist: Five African songs on repeat

Good Music and New Music…You’re welcome.

Afro music and artists have been getting a lot of western love lately. I’ll never forget the day I was casually watching James Corden, when Mr. Eazi performed on the show—I called everyone I know. Davido, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage also have their music circulating mainstream in the UK and US. People are finally getting to appreciate what we’ve loved all these years.

Anyway, if you’re trying to up your game on good African music, checkout these five songs that get me in the mood for Fri-Yay.

I think Burna Boy is about to drop an album…and I’m here for it. Checkout this major tune with Major Lazer.

And if you were trying to sleep on Ugandan music, listen to this song.

Take away some of his super petty moments and AKA is undeniably one of Africa’s top MC’s.

Yemi Alade is the African Female artist steadily climbing up the ladder of greatness. I can’t go a day without playing this song.

Why am I just hearing about this song now?

Happy Friday Guys!!!
