I know we’re approaching summer, but excuse me while I embrace Houston’s undecided weather with my multi-tasking clothes – warm to stand the morning winds and easy aeration for the hot afternoons.

I’m a huge fan of cut out tops but I can be picky when it comes to the details. When I saw this one on Boohoo, I knew it would be perfect. It’s neither too big nor too small, the upper neckline isn’t too thin and the sleeves are long just like I like them.

Anytime a top has a little “extra” going on, I like to get it in a plain, deep color – I find them classier that way. Black is an easy go-to, however burgundy, army green or magenta could also do the trick.

I loooove me some textured leggings and these are easily one of the most worn items in my closet. I thought I’d pair the easy look with some funky shoes which btw, I made myself. I matched up with my cute little pearl-finish bag and walked into Friday like a BAWSE.
