If it’s not spring or summer, it’s not exciting. Good thing is summer temperatures linger around a little longer in Houston so I can hold onto my “leg-game” for a minute.

One of my absolute favorite things about going back to Kampala is having all these colorful pieces of clothing made just for me.

I was introduced to Carol of Kara Designs through a friend who she tailored a dress for. I shared my vision of a few simple outfit creations and she did an amazing job bringing them to life. This is one of my collaborations with her, a sweet swing dress.

When you have a pretty dress, you pair it with pretty shoes and these Steve Maddens were perfect. Not my most comfortable pair, but the compliments help ease the pain haha.
