I typically don’t reach for floral dresses, as I don’t find them versatile and I love a functional wardrobe. This peach floral dress stole my heart and was perfect for a lil Houston end-of-summer rendezvous. The one shoulder-balloon sleeve style adds a chic and sexy esthetic, perfect for a day to night party.

A style-tip when wearing one-shoulder dresses, keep the arm jewelry light and wear it preferably on the covered side. The bare side works better with dainty jewelry of sorts, like rings. If you like your jewelry loud, a cocktail-ring might do the trick.

When posing for pictures, always place one hand (either one is fine) on your hip—two hands take focus away from the style of the dress and none makes you look like you’re not confident enough to wear such a fierce style.

This summer has been one of a kind, hopefully the last two seasons of 2020 will be kinder to us.
