The Laid Back Fancy is a look with pieces from both your party best and Saturday casual wardrobes. It’s like you’re going there but you’re not doing the most.

I like to think of this as one of those looks. The puffy skirt is toned down with a denim shirt, which I spiced up by tying a knot compared to the usual tuck-in. Where I would wear this

You know that fancy party, where you already know that you’re going to devour three slices of pie, but don’t want to let anyone in on the secret…dear friend, this is the skirt you wear.

All jokes aside, wear this to any type of get-together with friends. Lunch, brunch, drinks, dinner and a weekend barbecue (you can switch the heels for some pretty flats).
