Finally going to Uganda!!!
If you’re wondering why I’m this excited, it’s because Uganda is home. I was born in Kampala and lived there until I moved to Houston at 19. This trip is extra special. Unlike my past 3-month summer visits during college, this one is just 10 days, and it’s packed.
To be honest, I’m nervous. Most of my family still lives in Uganda, and that means I have to prepare for both the expected and unexpected.
My packing list reflects the full experience, from cute vacation fits to nightlife looks, safari essentials, and even traditional wear. This might be my most hectic trip yet — sleep is optional!
Here’s what I’m bringing with me…
